This Summer
Recent events have made it ever more clear to me that life is short, and that you have to live everyday to the fullest. No more putting things off, no more treating my body badly, no more unnecessary rudeness from me, I’m going to start living like today is my last day, and to be more mindful about how everyday is a gift. At the same time, I’m going to stop caring about the people that don’t care about me. People come and go, but my true friends will always remain there, those that love me are going to stick around, and those are the people that I need to care about. I love meeting new people and making new friends, that’s not going to stop, but I’m just going to stop worrying about what other people think. This summer is going to change everything. I’m going to work, yes, but I’m making a summer bucketlist and I’m going to cross everything off on it. I’m taking breaks from work and going to the beach as often as possible. I’m going on a roadtrip, I’m getting more freckles, I’m spending my last summer in college on my terms. Then comes senior year, and that’s a whole new trip. Stay tuned, life is going to get more interesting. Live it up, lock it down, take no prisoners
